“Christian Life Program: Witnessing God’s Work, One Heart at a Time”
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31 (Catholic Edition)
For seven Saturdays, from 23 May to 4 July 2026, God gathered people from different walks of life at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Kiara, and quietly began writing new stories of faith.
What started as an invitation to attend a Christian Life Program became a journey of encountering Christ, building genuine friendships, and discovering the joy of belonging to a community that seeks to know, love, and serve Him.
Week after week, hearts were opened through worship, inspiring talks, personal testimonies, and meaningful conversations.
The journey reached a beautiful milestone during the seventh week, when Talks 7 and 8 were held on the same day, marking not an ending, but the beginning of a renewed life with Christ.
This year’s Christian Life Program welcomed eleven couples, together with four HOLD and two SOLD participants.
By the end of the program, six couples and two HOLD participants completed the CLP and took their next step in their faith journey with Couples for Christ.
Yet beyond these numbers are the countless moments that only God could orchestrate—hearts that found hope again, faith that was rekindled, friendships that were formed, and lives gently transformed by His grace.
None of this would have been possible without the brothers and sisters who joyfully answered God’s call to serve.
Like every Couples for Christ mission, this CLP became a beautiful reminder that when people offer their time, talents, and hearts to the Lord, He can do far more than anyone could ever imagine.
Our Unit Leaders, Bro. Rod and Sis. Gherlie Patay, faithfully led the service team with dedication, encouragement, and a servant’s heart throughout the entire program.
We were also blessed by the support of our Servant of the Lord, Bro. Uly Plando, who helped connect our community with Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Through his support, the Christian Life Program was welcomed into the parish, creating opportunities not only for the CLP to be held there but also for stronger relationships to grow with the parish community.
Guiding and supporting the mission every step of the way were our Chapter Leaders, whose steady leadership, wisdom, and encouragement strengthened both the team and the mission.
The CLP was made even more meaningful through the generosity of our speakers and sharers who travelled from different parts of Western Australia to proclaim God’s Word and share how He continues to transform lives.
Their witness reminded us that faith is not simply something we hear about—it is something we are called to live each day.
Looking back, it is clear that the Christian Life Program was never just about completing eight talks over seven weeks. It was about creating a place where people could encounter Christ, experience His love through Christian community, and discover that He has been pursuing them all along.
Every invitation extended, every prayer whispered, every sacrifice offered, and every act of service became part of God’s greater plan.
As one Christian Life Program comes to a close, we look forward with hope to what God will do next.
We pray that our new brothers and sisters will continue to grow in their relationship with Christ, remain rooted in Christian community, and become joyful witnesses who will one day invite others to begin the very same journey they have experienced.
The mission continues, and so does God’s invitation.
May the Lord continue to use Couples for Christ as His hands and feet, reaching out to families, building communities, and bringing more people home to His love.
To God be all the glory!
