After a simple yet heartfelt praise and worship, the team gathered for a short service meeting, headed by camp team leaders Kuya Nat A. and Ate Sam V. with camp servants Ate Yanni N. and Kuya Zeus L., to prepare for the day ahead. Soon, our KFCs and their parents began arriving for registration.

The camp officially began with an opening prayer led by Kuya Nat, followed by a fun icebreaker game hosted by Ate Sam to get everyone moving and smiling. Kuya Nat then gave a warm orientation to the participants to help them settle in before the sessions started.

Throughout the day, the kids listened to three inspiring talks shared by Ate Carryle A., Kuya Gian M., and Ate Isha DdR. While we won’t go into details (no spoilers for future campers—this might be your child’s experience soon!), the talks focused on these simple but beautiful truths:

• God made us special because He loves us.

• Jesus teaches us how to love God. Here, Kuya Gian’s sisters, Ate Kim and Ate Gracey were his sharers.

• God always forgives us because of His great love. Here, Kuya Elijah, Isha’s brother, was her sharer.

In between the sessions, there were snacks, games, icebreakers, and even song teachings to keep the children engaged and joyful. Ate Yanni led the fun activities that made sure no child was left bored!

Group discussions with their ates and kuyas followed each talk to help the kids understand the topics in a more personal and meaningful way. That wraps up the first half of the day—and up next is eNight, a special evening where the kids will bond with old and new friends in a fun and memorable playdate.

A Beautiful Finish to an Unforgettable Kids Camp

After a joyful and laughter-filled eNight on Day 1—where the kids lit up the evening with their games, performances, dances, and cheers, including a dance performance by the KFC Coordinators—we welcomed the final day of the KFC Camp with hearts full of gratitude.

The day began with a hearty breakfast, followed by a family rosary and an opening prayer led by our team leader, Kuya Nat. This peaceful start beautifully set the tone for Talk 4: “The Holy Spirit Will Help Me to Be Good Always,” shared by Kuya Lance A.

A short morning tea break gave everyone a chance to recharge before a special parent-child dialogue—an intimate bonding moment we’ll keep a secret so as not to spoil the surprise for future campers!

Afterward, Uncle Doni led a heartfelt pray-over for the children, with parents joining in. It was a touching moment, and a powerful reminder that this kind of prayer is a beautiful gift we can give our kids at any moment—in school, during challenges, or on special days.

Then came the long-awaited Dedication Ceremony, where our young campers officially became Senior KFCs! Smiles and excitement filled the pavilion as parents, family, YFC leaders, and KFC coordinators all joined in this joyful milestone. The ceremony ended with a vibrant Praisefest led by Kuya Nat—everyone dancing, singing, and celebrating God’s love!

After lunch and countless photo ops, the camp concluded with a Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Father Roy. His homily spoke deeply about the importance of love within the family, and how camps like these provide not only fun but spiritual formation to guide our children safely through life.

This weekend was truly a blessing—full of faith, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to all our YFC ates and kuyas, KFC coordinators (Bro Leo & Sis Ritchel, Bro Ramil & Sis Lisa, Bro Jun & Bro Teody, Bro Ginno & Sis Shey-Shey), and the many CFC leaders and members who served with joyful hearts.

And of course, to the parents and kids—this camp wouldn’t be possible without you. As Bro Leo reminded us, without the children, there is no camp—and without the parents, there is no mission to serve.
