OUR STORY
CFC South Chapter-Western Australia
CFC South Chapter – WA began as the Gosnells Unit in May 2011, under the heartfelt service of Bro. Jay Cabrera and his wife Sis. Perla. The Cabrera family, who joined CFC in 2002, brought their dedication from New Zealand to our community here in WA.
In June 2015, the unit was officially recognized as the South Chapter, with Bro. Kit Palos and his wife Sis. Ruchelle guiding us with their passion and commitment. Today, the chapter is joyfully led by Bro. Roland Ablaza and his wife Sis. Cherry. The Ablaza family, who have been part of CFC since 1997 and served in the Philippines for 15 years, moved to Western Australia in 2010 and continue to enrich our community with their loving leadership.
OUR PROGRAMS
ANCOP & The Christian Life Program
The two-fold mission of Couples For Christ (CFC) are Building the Church of the Home and Building the Church of the Poor.
Like all the CFC Chapters here in WA, South Chapter’s mission is to bring families closer to Christ through two key programs — the Christian Life Program (CLP) and ANCOP or Answering the Cry of the Poor.
Our Christian Life Program (CLP) serves as the gateway to discovering God’s love and living a renewed life. We conduct CLPs across various local communities, including Kwinana, Langford, Yangebup, and Treeby to name a few. These sessions offer a welcoming environment for couples and individuals to deepen their faith and build lifelong friendships rooted in Christ.
Through CFC ANCOP Australia, we fulfill our calling to care for the less fortunate. CFC South Chapter actively supports the education of poor children in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. We organize fundraising activities like the Australia Global Walk, Bingo for a Cause, and online donation campaigns to uplift lives and bring hope to those in need.
