CFC-WA South Chapter Unit B’s Christian Life Program: Talk 1 – God’s Love
It was an inspiring beginning as South Chapter Unit B launched its Christian Life Program (CLP) at St. Jude Catholic Church, Langford.
The atmosphere was filled with high hopes as the team welcomed participants with warm smiles, reflecting the joy of sharing God’s love.

This CLP was led for the first time by Bro. Thata Tapitan, alongside his ever-supportive wife, Sis. Hazel Tapitan — a testament to how God empowers couples to serve together.
The program began with an opening prayer led by Bro. Thata, followed by an opening song led by the South Chapter Unit B Music Ministry, with the valuable support of Bro. Vince Baguio from Unit A on the guitar.

The first order of the afternoon was the Orientation Talk, where Bro. Thata provided an overview of what the CLP is all about — a journey of discovering God’s plan of love and salvation. He shared how the series of talks would guide participants toward a renewed relationship with Christ and the strengthening of family life.

The highlight of the day was Talk 1: God’s Love, delivered by Bro. Reynold Ong, the CFC-WA Family Ministry Cluster Head.
With passion and clarity, Bro. Reynold conveyed the central message: God is love. He emphasized how God’s love creates, saves, and sustains us — truths beautifully illustrated in Scripture, such as the Parable of the Prodigal Son and the promise of the Holy Spirit in John 14:26-27.
His talk was capped with a touching video that allowed everyone to reflect on God’s deep and personal love — a powerful moment that moved both participants and service team members.

After the talk, the participants were divided into Discussion Groups, where they were encouraged to share their reflections in a safe and confidential space.
The brothers’ group was led by Bro. Allan Gabriel with the assistance of Bro. Joc-Joc Navia, while the sisters’ group was led by Sis. Marge Gabriel and assisted by Sis. Jean Navia. These small group discussions created an opportunity for participants to connect and journey together in faith.

A special highlight of the afternoon was a surprise dance presentation by the kids — a heartwarming performance led by Sis. Violy Ramos and Bro. Jokie Ramos. The joy and the willingness to participate by the little ones reminded everyone of the simple yet profound ways God’s love manifests in families.
The session concluded with a heartfelt closing prayer by Bro. Albert Nisay, followed by a time of fellowship over shared meals — a perfect way to end the day, building relationships between participants and the service team.

Day 1 of the CLP was truly a testament to God’s love at work in the South Chapter Unit B community.
With the leadership of Bro. Herbert and Sis. Ann Delgado, and the steadfast dedication of Bro. Thata and Sis. Hazel, the team is ready to journey forward with Talk 2 next week.
Let us continue to pray that God’s love will touch the hearts of all participants as they walk this path of renewal.
